Yolimari Garcia holds a B.A. in American History and a M.A. in European History. She graduated from both of her degrees with high honors. As an Investigation Aid and an Auxiliary Archivist, she acquired experience with historical archives, documents' collections and rare books. Yolimari Garcia also has been part of The Saylor Foundation's Content Review Panel. Her main responsibility was reviewing history courses, and she excelled at it. She loves to read history and literature books, travel and exercise. She is the mother of a beautiful four-year-old girl, who gives her immense joy.

Additionally, Yolimari Garcia has been lucky enough to travel to sixteen European countries and around eighty-six European cities. Germany, Italy, France, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Belgium and Spain are among the countries she had the tremendous opportunity of visiting. Some of the cities she went to were Berlin, Munich, Dresden, Hamburg, Dachau, Coburg, Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Venice, Pisa, Naples, Paris, Versailles, London, Windsor, Edinburg, Amsterdam, Bern, Zurich, Vienna, Salzburg, Krakow, Budapest, Brussels, Madrid, Toledo, and Segovia. Needless to say, Yolimari is quite a traveler.
